Market context, platform choices and roadmaps aligned with global priorities.
Mini Programs, product discovery, customization, membership and conversion.
High-value customer journeys, 1:1 service and long-term customer operations.
Local content, campaign operations, technical iteration and reliable maintenance.
One accountable partner
Understand the brand, market and customer.
Shape the experience and operating model.
Build, launch and coordinate every detail.
Operate, learn and improve over time.
About PURTION
Founded in 2009, PURTION brings together founder-led strategy, WeChat-native product thinking, customer growth expertise and an in-house development hub. We stay deliberately senior and close to the work.
Our point of viewEvery digital touchpoint in China should feel as considered as the brand itself.
2009—2026
From branded iPhone apps to WeChat commerce, clienteling and AI, each chapter reflects how China’s digital landscape changed — and how PURTION changed with it.
PURTION was established as China’s mobile internet era began to take shape.
Following the arrival of iPhone 4 and iPad, PURTION formed its Hong Kong company and created Lancôme Genifique’s first official Chinese-language iPhone app.
iPhone app work expanded across Lancôme, Giorgio Armani Cosmetics and other brand marketing programs.
PURTION joined the Hong Kong Science Park Incu-App Programme. The same year, WeChat Official Accounts launched and opened the interfaces that would reshape China’s digital ecosystem.
PURTION entered the WeChat ecosystem with a CRM H5 campaign for Royal Canin, which grew into an ongoing retainer.
Starting with a custom Le Pliage interaction on WeChat, PURTION became Longchamp’s retained partner for WeChat and Weibo content and operations.
Longchamp’s China digital marketing work helped bring the brand together with Mr Bags, one of China’s defining fashion KOLs.
PURTION launched Longchamp’s H5 pop-up store for customized Le Pliage bags. A second release sold nearly 1,000 bags in three days.
Announced jointly by WeChat and Longchamp, the Longchamp online boutique became the first luxury Mini Program in the WeChat ecosystem. PURTION also began Mini Program work for Burberry.
Work expanded across Burberry, DFS, MCM and Shine With, including a 3D exhibition experience for DFS. PURTION also won first prize at the inaugural WeGeek challenge with Folli Follie and brought the solution to market.
PURTION opened Shanghai and Xi’an offices, expanded SCRM and WeCom work for Longchamp, Kering and FENDI, was named a Red Herring Top 100 Asia winner, and placed fourth at WDC Europe in Berlin with LVMH.
As WeChat Red Packet Covers launched, PURTION created the platform’s first brand case for Gucci, followed by Louis Vuitton, Longchamp and De Beers. It also built a VIC-only Mini Program for Louis Vuitton when customers could not access stores.
PURTION extended Louis Vuitton’s post-show re-see into WeCom, turning a time-bound fashion moment into sustained customer engagement.
During Shanghai’s extended restrictions, PURTION brought Longchamp’s My Pliage customization experience to Xiaohongshu. Work for FENG CHEN WANG became the starting point for ongoing Mini Program commerce and WeCom customer operations.
PURTION began Mini Program commerce operations for MCM and Longchamp, alongside WeCom customer operations for Sweaty Betty.
A partnership with homegrown brand HerBeast marked further category expansion, with PURTION providing WeCom SCRM strategy and operations with the same commitment applied to global brands.
As WeChat Stores gained momentum, PURTION advised and operated MCM and SABON stores. Recognition at WDC Japan and WDC Middle East was followed by the Matsuya Ginza Mini Program — a major step in serving overseas retail clients.
PURTION expanded into department-store social operations with REEL, won two WDC Asia-Pacific awards and began developing its own WeCom-based AI-SCRM system. On 5 September, What’s In My Closet was voted No.1 Most Anticipated New Store at WeChat Developer Innovation Lab.
